The New Regime – “We Rise, We Fall”

It’s been almost a year since former Nine Inch Nails drummer and musical genius Ilan Rubin stepped on the scene with The New Regime, and the time has done this rock-influenced outfit some serious good.

Almost a year ago, The New Regime released “Daydream”, a gritty yet simple rock song that embodied Rubin’s youthful edge. Now, we’re hearing a little bit of a more sophisticated sound from latest single “We Rise, We Fall.”

Layered melodic guitars and a driving bass line make the very first 30-seconds instantly a treat for our ears, but the lyrics rely on a little paranoia and reflection to drive home the point of perseverance. We’re digging the ominous tone and dramatic hue of this one.
