The New York pop-punk duo Diet Cig recently released their lovesick fuzz-pop/garage punk album “Swear I’m Good At This,” a collection of Alex Luciano’s (guitar/vocals) experiences with messy romances and breakups, awkward situations, and the anxieties of youth and terror of adulthood.
Well, we might have changed it up a bit. But today is International Women’s Day. And in honor of this, we’re highlighting women who have made waves in the indie music world with their talents, stage antics, unique tones, and overall badassery involving music.
Now, I am honestly not the biggest fan of watching pre-recorded concerts from a TV or theatre. Mainly because I am a selfish girl and I like to experience shows first hand. So going into this Imagine Dragons experience and watching from a theater seat rather than viewing it live from Toronto where it was filmed seemed somewhat anti climactic, yet I was intrigued all at the same time.
